About Me

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. In grade school I was a prolific book maker, wall paper samples being the preferred cover of choice. I remember the first time I realized others might be interested in what I had to say. I penned an editorial to the local newspaper at the age of 9 to publicly decry the smashing of our pumpkins that Halloween. It was then, that the writer within me was born.

Throughout my life, I have squirrelled away stories and song lyrics in notebooks. Collected anecdotes and character sketches like one might collect antique books or earthenware. The written word has always been the most important currency. I often opt for a cup of tea and a book over elaborate dinner plans and a night on the town. There is magic in the pen. Words capture our minds and set free our imagination.

After many years of putting pen to paper, I have finally gotten serious about bringing my voice to a broader audience. I invite you to share in the magic.
